About the Clarinet Club

I am a clarinetist who is constantly trying to find ways to better teach and play. I just graduated with my Bachelor of Music Education at Missouri State University. I will be attending the University of North Texas this fall to pursue a Master of Music in clarinet performance.

The Clarinet Club came into existence at my student teaching placement. The students call their after-school clarinet club the SSCA (Super Secret Clarinet Association).

This is a place for me to gather and create resources to help the developing clarinetist (or the teachers of clarinetists). I plan on covering topics like developing range, reeds, voicing, introductory extended techniques, my experiences teaching/learning clarinet concepts, and my own compositions for young clarinetists.
